Playground to open soon

The long-awaited and slightly delayed opening of the new playground on Grattan Crescent is to open on June 22nd. Dublin city council says face-painters and clowns will attend for the official opening at 10.30 am.

There's also further good news for the area with the opening of the new walking and cycling route along the Grand Canal on Friday, June 18th. This new path stretches from the 3rd lock in Inchicore (by the Black Horse) all the way up to the 12th lock in Lucan.
