Councillors appointed to regeneration board

Three local city councillors have been appointed to the board overseeing the regeneration of St Michael's Estate.

Or should that be the "regeneration" of the estate, given the disastrous lack of progress...

In any case, the councillors are John Gallagher of Labour, Clare Byrne of Fine Gael and Sinn Fein's Criona Ni Dhalaigh.

There seems to be no place on the board for the fourth local representative, Rebecca Moynihan, a fact which led a number of councillors at the last monthly meeting to complain about the way some of the regeneration boards in the city are being run.
