Dart Underground hearings on Inchicore begin

Article Posted: Wednesday 23rd March, 2011

Module 11 of the Bord Pleanala oral hearing into the Dart Underground project, which deals with the passage of the project through Inchicore, has begun.

On Tuesday, Woodfield residents made their presentation for about 90 minutes.
On Wednesday, Irish Rail responds to this submission, after which Woodfield gets one last chance at asking questions to the applicant.

Then the individual presentations from CIE Estate residents start.

The hearing isn't sitting on Thursday but will be back on Friday, when CIE is likely to respond.

The Inchicore on Track group is likely to start sometime on Friday, March 25. There's no hearing again on the Monday, but on Tuesday, March 29, IoT has tentatively lined up OTB Engineering to do a technical presentation on its behalf.

IoT is hoping that local residents will attend any of the days to show their support.

The hearing is at An Bord Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, and usually starts at 10:00, breaks from 13:00 to 14:00, and goes on to about 17:30.
