Unique housing project comes to Inchicore - would-be homeowners sought

A unique housing project which offers low-income families an affordable route to home ownership has come to Inchicore.
The Habitat for Humanity charity is currently renovating two derelict houses on Emmet Road which will be made available for purchase to families in Dublin City Council's housing list.
Apart from being able to afford a small, low-income mortgage, the only requirement is that you are prepared to "sweat" for your new home by contributing labour.
Four derelict houses are being renovated in the project, which will see the creation of two three bedroom homes and two one
Habitat for Humanity is an international charity which has provided more than 2 million people with improved housing worldwide. It partners with homeowners, volunteers and professionals and uses donations of materials and money to provide simple, decent, affordable housing.
No construction experience
is required of applicants as all training will be provided on site by professionals.
