Incontinence Wear

Catherin Currivan29/07/2011Not exactly a glamorous topic but a fact of life for the thousands who, thanks to improved medication, nowadays live to a ripe old age in disability. Following the death of a loved one who has been cared for at home many people are left with several unopened packets of adult nappies obtained from the Health Board. This must represent a considerable expense to the beleaguered taxpayer. It seems almost sinful to consign these items to the bin, especially when one considers the stringent assessments required to obtain them in the first instance. I know they are bulky and difficult to store but there could be a designated place where one might bring them. There's a lot of waste out there!
