jane26/07/2011im just wondering if anybody knows the history of the old rosedale house, which was turned into apartments. im wondering what its original purpose was? and what the house was used for thereafter?
judi28/07/2011I think it was originally known as Goldenbridge house, but I think it was always a private house and not part of the Industrial school.

Census of 1911 shows a Nathan Levin as resident there (29 Tyrconnell Street)
Catherine Currivan29/07/2011The same Nathan is listed at 88 Heytesbury St. in 1901,a financier, Israelite, a widower living with his fourteen year old son Joseph who was to become a building contractor by 1911.The census really ignites the imagination!
