| Paul Cullen | 19/05/2009 | Does anyone know how many seats there are in our ward in the local elections? Currently, there are three sitting councillors in the south-west inner city ward but someone said an extra seat has been added because of the growth in population locally. Is this true? |
| Patrick | 19/05/2009 | Taken from DCC Web site, *Artane/Whitehall (5 seats), Ballymun/Finglas (5 seats), Clontarf (5 seats), Donaghmede (4 seats), Cabra/Glasnevin (5 seats), North Inner City (6 seats), Pembroke/Rathmines (6 seats), South East Inner City (4 seats),Ballyfermot/Drimnagh (4 seats), Crumlin/Kimmage (4 seats), South West Inner City (4 seats). |
| Michael O'Flanagan | 19/05/2009 | Yeah! John Gormley regigged the constituencies...... previous in the Dublin Sth Central Constituency....... 5 TDs......and 11 councillors........ 3 in Ballyfermot......... 3 in Inchicore/Liberties and 5 in Crumlin/Drimnagh/Terenure....... Gormley wanted to get rid of the 3 seaters to improve the chances of getting a Green Councillor elected....somewhere......anywhere.....thus three 4 seaters in Ballyfermot, Inchicore and Crumlin. Population had very little to do with it! |
