Lighting up of Christmas Tree, Wednesday Dec. 2nd
Date: 2nd Dec 2009Sorry about the lack of precision but I saw a poster today advertising the annual lighting up of the Christmas tree in Inchicore village this Wednesday, December 5th. Honours being performed by the indefatigable John Gallagher, Labour councillor, filling in for the Lord Mayor Emer Costello. The time given is 5.30 pm, a bit early for those of us who have jobs to do and kids to pick up after those jobs. But heh, a party's a party and we'll join the stragglers in the Black Lion.
