Emmet Hall Plaques to be Unveiled

Two plaques on Emmet Hall, 122 Emmet Road will be unveiled by Jack O'Connor President of SIPTU at 3pm on Friday 4th of November. This building is very historic, being the home of Michael Mallin the executed 1916 Leader and the branch headquarters of The Irish Transport and General Workers It was purchased in 1913 by jim Larkin and played an important in the Lockout in that year. Others associated with this building are William Partridge and Con Colbert another of the Leaders executed in 1916.
