Johnny Candon You're in for a real treat with this month's headliner. Johnny has gigged all over the world and toured with such legends of comedy as Ricky Gervais. A regular at the Comedy Store and Jongleurs clubs in the UK, Johnny has been invited to the Adelaide and Melbourne Comedy festivals as well as performing a number of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. His infectious playful humour is littered with spot-on observations and thigh slapping jokes. "..genuinely unexpected punchlines, delivered with a killer blow" Willie White - Willie (or Willa) White burst onto the scene on Des Bishop's Joy In The Hood and hasn't looked back since. The Ballymun native has rocked audiences all over the country and the UK with his superb delivery gag-heavy style. He's a regular headliner at Dublin's Laughter Lounge who describe him as a "genius on the comedy stage". Willa is a regular at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, Electric Picnic and is the resident MC at the Axis theatre in Ballymun. Our opening act of the evening is Alan Gernon. The Resident MC at the Back Room Laughs in Navan, Spirit Store in Dundalk and a growing number of other venues, Alan Gernon is fast being acknowledged as a master of the one-liner. Most recently he has written and performed sketches on RTE2's MNS. And your host for the evening will be Colm O'Regan. Colm has performed all over the world, the Montreal Comedy festival, in the Far East and all over the UK and Ireland. Last year he made his Edinburgh debut. He's been on UK and Irish TV and is currently writing a weekly newspaper column for the Cork News.
